Toronto, Canada based legal luminary, Barrister Henry Igbinoba, of Henry Laws Solicitors, has recently been honored as the 2025 Diaspora Legal Icon of the Year, by Lagos based general interest news magazine, Top 10 Magazine, at its 2025 Man of the Year Excellence Award.
The event was held on the 7th of December at the prestigious Nigerian Army Conference Center & Suites, Asokoro, Abuja.
The honoree, Barrister Henry Igbinoba, is one of the most respected Nigerian legal practitioners within and around Toronto. The illustrious, Igbanke, Edolite, is noted for his ability to dare even where lions dread most and conquer. Barrister Henry was recognized and celebrated in 2024 as one of the 20 Most Influential Nigerians in Canada
Henry Laws, as he is popularly known, is recorded to have won 95% of his cases in the last 2 years, and this has earned him numerous honors and accolades, both home and abroad
The legal prodigy, who is also a product of the famous Femi Falana Chambers, graduated in 1996 from the Ambrose Alli University, attended the Nigerian Law School in 1997 and proceeded to serve his country with the Nigerian Police Force while also working with PM PREFA and associates. He later joined the law office of Femi Falana & Falana in 1999, after which he set up his private practice in 2001.
In Canada, he joined the law office of Kingsley Jesuorobo & Associate before being called as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Province of Alberta in August 2016 and at the Law Society of Upper Canada, Ontario in 2017. His areas of core competence are Immigration and family law, through which he has affected many immigrant (especially Nigerians) families, positively within the Ontario province and beyond.
The well-deserved award is in recognition of the exploits and accomplishments Barrister Henry Igbinoba has made in the legal profession within Ontario, Canada, and beyond.
